EXT's New price conscious damper that is lighter on the price but still loaded with features.

This shock offers the revolutionary LOK Technology that allows a complete compression separate lock-out system, with a new design and a more progressive damper circuit. In order to allow every rider to use a softer spring rate and increase bike traction and handling, EXT engineers have utilized its best in class hydraulic bottom out system named HBC (Hydraulic Bottom-out Control), capable to develop more than 50% of hydraulic force only on the last 15% of the stroke, allowing riders to avoid harsh bottom-out situations and provide a compliance and control throughout the entire range of travel.

Vecta is designed for riders who want maximum performance for value. This damper was designed to contain some unique features not found in it's V3 predecessor, many of which a from the development of the e-Storia. These features include the following:

  • Chromoly shaft with low friction coating
  • Reservoir with bladder design for better low speed sensitivity
  • Dedicated spring platform to accommodate stiffer springs
  • Polymer spring bushings
  • Internal negative spring to avoid harsh top-out and improve bike platform stability
  • Lok 2.0
  • New rebound adjustment to increase tuning range
  • New compression valve design to increase adjustability range and provide more supple low speed characteristics.
  • New seal design to reduce friction
  • New main piston design with high flow to improve sensitivity and tunability

Note:

AFMLOW RIDERS: Due to the tight frame clearance on Amflow frames, we are recommending a maximum rider weight of 230lbs.

To ensure frame clearance, riders over a 170lb will most likely require and be shipped with a C55 spring-size. C55 spring rates max out at 650lbs rate, which calculates to a 230lb rider weight. If you are over the recommended maximum rider weight, your spring may touch your frame under full compression.
